# Equal-task screenshot workflow protocol

Prepared by Skir, September 10, 2026. This blank protocol is not a completed multi-vendor benchmark.

## Shared task

1. Use the same three original app PNGs and approved headlines.
2. Choose one explicit device target, orientation and export format.
3. Build a three-image composition, keeping the app artwork intact.
4. Replace one app image and lengthen one headline.
5. Save, reopen and verify editable source persistence.
6. Export, unzip, decode and visually review all files.

## Record for each run

- Tool, version or observation date, plan and billing interval:
- Operator and prior familiarity:
- Browser, operating system and network conditions:
- Source filenames and SHA-256 hashes:
- Setup minutes (separate from task):
- Active editing minutes:
- Waiting / export minutes:
- Manual repairs and why:
- Save / reopen result:
- Output count, dimensions, format and alpha:
- Actual file hashes and retained output location:
- Visual review findings:
- Run state: NOT RUN / INCOMPLETE / COMPLETED / FAILED
- Failure reason, if any:

## Analysis rules

- Repeat completed scenarios before presenting summary timing statistics.
- Use the same task and review standard across tools.
- Report setup, familiarity and unavailable features explicitly.
- Preserve failed observations; do not silently drop them.
- Do not treat unavailable or missing runs as zero.
- Do not infer conversion uplift from an export or a faster editing session.
- Label vendor claims separately from observed output.
