Skir integration documentation
A shared remote MCP service and a packaged workflow for ChatGPT and Codex. Closed beta; production and directory acceptance remain pending.
The main workflow
Start from the app context already available. Supply real captures where possible, use editable placeholders where they are missing, and review the set before export. Only a short app brief and selected files are passed to Skir.
- Context, real capture and storyboard fallbacks
- Attached files and bounded local uploads
- Saved edits, previews and exports
- Connected account and entitlements
Connection and portability
The configured endpoint is https://skir.app/api/mcp, using Streamable HTTP and OAuth discovery with dynamic client registration. Credentials belong in the host’s connection flow, never in a prompt or plugin package. A configured endpoint is not evidence of a live accepted connection.
Optional MCP Apps UI uses the standard host bridge. The core tools return useful structured results and editor links when UI or local execution is unavailable. File and browser capabilities vary by host.
Current boundaries
The workflow does not upload an entire repository, install capture toolchains, publish store listings or purchase subscriptions. A successful image-size check is not store approval or evidence of improved conversion.
