1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Skir ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

2. Description of Service

Skir is an AI-powered screenshot generator that helps developers and marketers create professional screenshot sets for Apple App Store and Google Play Store listings. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate visual assets based on content you provide.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update it as necessary. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Credits & Billing

Skir uses a credit-based system to pay for AI generation. Credits are dynamic: 1 credit equals $0.01 of actual AI processing cost. Credits are purchased through Polar, our payment provider, either via a monthly subscription or one-time credit pack purchases.

• Credits from one-time packs never expire and carry over indefinitely.
• Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not carry over.
• Consumed credits are non-refundable. Each generation deducts credits based on actual AI usage.
• Theme switching between pre-generated screenshot variants is always free and does not consume credits.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or misleading
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI generation system
• Use automated means to access the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of the screenshots and visual assets generated using the Service. By submitting content (app names, descriptions, URLs) to generate screenshots, you grant Skir a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the Service.

Skir retains all rights to the platform, user interface, branding, and underlying systems. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Skir platform without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI-generated output will meet your expectations or requirements for app store submission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skir's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Skir in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Skir may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Unused credits from one-time packs will be forfeited upon account termination due to a Terms violation.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
