When you are building the app and its store listing, start with a small deliverable: one accurate screenshot sequence for the next release. Skir provides editable surrounding text, decoration and device placement, so you can concentrate on choosing the right app screens and explaining them clearly.
Choose three useful moments
Capture the screen that best explains the product, a useful action and the resulting app state. A fictional planner might show today's priorities, creating a task and reviewing progress. Use different moments if that is not how your app works. Three accurate screens are a practical first draft; platform requirements and recommendation criteria may call for additional assets.
Use the template as a starting composition
Keep Ideas Forever is an existing five-board catalog template with editable text and replaceable sample images. Select the intended platform in the template dialog, replace that sample image with your capture and edit the headline. Keep the uploaded app artwork together so its UI remains faithful to the build.
Work within a clear first-release allowance
Free supports one app and the first three editable/exportable screenshots in a set. Full-set exports and other paid capabilities have separate access requirements. Check current plan availability before planning a larger set; a five-board public preview does not mean all five source boards are available on Free.
Review the result, not just the editor
- Wait for the project to save, reload it and confirm the final wording.
- Export the available boards as PNG or JPEG and unzip the browser download.
- Check dimensions, orientation, format and alpha with the local checker.
- Open every image on a phone and inspect the headline and app UI.
- Upload only the files that match the intended store and device slot.
Make the next release easier
Keep the app build, original captures, copy and approved ZIP together. A stable sequence makes it easier to replace a changed screen without rewriting the entire story. Use the release manifest when repeating this work; use the copy worksheet when the product message changes.
