Start with a layout you can make your own. Browse selected examples from Skir's existing screenshot template library, then replace the sample screens, write your headlines and adjust the design around your app.

A free account includes one app, every template and editing across the whole set. Export the first three screenshots in each set at full resolution, without a watermark. Additional screenshot exports require paid access. No card needed.

Choose a template for the story your app needs to tell

Look at the sequence, not just its first image. Choose a layout that gives your important app screens enough room and leaves space for clear, readable headlines.

Browse by app category

  • Fitness screenshot templates — Existing catalog layouts for running routes and strength workouts. Choose the story that matches your actual app.
  • Productivity screenshot templates — Existing catalog layouts for goals, habits and collecting creative ideas. Match the composition to the work your app helps people organize.
  • Parenting screenshot templates — Existing catalog layouts for pregnancy planning and family reading, with sample screens and editable surrounding copy.
  • Education screenshot templates — Existing catalog compositions for vocabulary practice, learning activities and course discovery. Show the actual learning activity clearly.

Keep Ideas Forever

A burgundy and cream layout for collections, discovery and organization. Consider it when your app's main value is helping people save or find something. Replace each sample capture with your own interface and describe only the actions your app supports.

Spending and Cards

A dark layout with strong white headlines for a sequence of financial controls or transactions. Check that balances, currencies and captions are consistent with your app. Sample amounts are demonstration content, not proof of a financial result.

Daily Mindfulness

A pastel layout that can introduce a routine and show the activities within it. Keep the interface readable and describe the feature shown. Remove sample health or outcome claims unless they are appropriate and substantiated for your app.

Choose a device mockup that fits your app

A device frame helps place your interface in context, but it also takes space from the screen you need to show. Browse the actual template previews and choose a composition where your key app action remains readable at store-listing size.

  1. Compare the existing layouts and open the template that suits your screen.
  2. In the editor, select the device layer and use “Replace app screenshot” to upload a capture from your app. Adjust its placement and the surrounding headline together.
  3. Check the frame controls before committing to a design. Simple device layers offer phone or tablet format, orientation and frame color. Imported mockup artwork can have a fixed shape or color; some imported frames allow a color change.
  4. Export a file and check its pixels against your intended store slot with the screenshot size checker. The decorative frame does not set the export dimensions.

What you can edit

Change headlines, supporting text, colors, decorative elements and device placement. The app interface inside a phone is a replaceable image: upload your real app capture to change it.

Review every sample badge, statistic and testimonial before using a template. They are example design content, not results earned by your app.

Skir templates are editable in Skir's browser editor. They are not Figma or Photoshop source-file downloads.

Plan your first three screenshots

Before adjusting colors, decide what each opening screenshot needs to communicate. Copy this worksheet into your notes and fill it with your app's real features.

ScreenshotQuestion to answerFill-in headlineCapture to choose
1What can someone do with this app?“[Action] your [main task]”The screen that directly demonstrates the main task.
2How does the workflow help?“[Organize / find / customize] your [specific item]”A different screen showing that action.
3What makes the next step useful?“[Review / follow / save] your [result or progress]”A visible result, saved item or next step.

For a hypothetical task planner, a truthful sequence might be “Plan today's tasks,” “Group work by project,” and “Review completed tasks”—but only if all three actions exist in that app. These are writing examples, not a new visual template or tested conversion formula.

From template to exported files

  1. Choose a layout and create or sign in to your Skir account.
  2. Replace the sample captures with screens from the app version you plan to publish.
  3. Edit one clear message per screenshot. Review the whole set for repeated or conflicting claims.
  4. Choose the available target size for your store and inspect the layout after adapting it.
  5. Save, export the eligible screenshots and open the downloaded files. Use the free screenshot size checker for file checks.

The selected catalog previews start at 1290 × 2796 pixels. Confirm the upload slot you intend to use; a decorative device frame does not determine the exported canvas dimensions.

Frequently asked questions

Are all templates free?

Every template is available to use with Skir's free account. You can edit the complete set, but free exports cover its first three screenshots. A larger exported set requires paid access.

Do I need to sign up before browsing?

No. You can browse this public gallery without an account. Signup is required to create and save your own editable project.

Are the free exports watermarked?

No. Eligible free exports are full resolution and watermark-free. Review the current plan details before planning a larger release.

Can I use my own app screenshots?

Yes. Replace each sample screen with a capture from your app. The surrounding headline and design remain editable.

What should I check before publishing a template?

Replace the illustrative app screens, portraits, logos and claims with material you have permission to publish. Rights for Skir-provided sample artwork in the imported templates have not been confirmed for commercial or client use. If your finished export would retain any of that artwork, request written confirmation before publishing it.

Can I use a template for Android?

Skir has a separate Google Play phone workflow. Start with the Google Play screenshot generator and review the Android layout before export.

Which layout should I choose?

Choose the one that makes your app's main action easiest to see. Use the annotated screenshot examples to compare the role of copy, screen placement and sequence. No template guarantees more downloads.

For a focused example, read the finance screenshot breakdown to review screen order, amounts and chart claims before adapting a layout for your own app.
