How to read the result
Pass — checked file rules: the image matches the rules this checker evaluates for the selected slot. Continue with a visual review and check your complete listing before submission.
Needs changes: read the specific issue before exporting again. A wrong canvas size and an unwanted alpha channel need different fixes.
Not checked or could not check: the tool has not established that the image is valid. Confirm the selected slot and file type. If the file exceeds the processing limits, check it with another suitable image utility.
A pass is not store approval. Skir does not check whether your app's claims are accurate, every required device and locale is covered, or your listing qualifies for promotional placement.

Coverage is limited to the available selector options. Mac, Apple Watch, Apple Vision Pro, Apple TV, Wear OS, Android TV, Automotive and XR are outside its current coverage. It does not validate animation, color profiles, content policy or screenshot-set completeness.
For the authoritative requirements, consult Apple's screenshot specifications and Google Play's preview asset requirements. If a newly introduced slot is not available here, use the store's reference and submission console.

Do I need a Skir account?

Yes. Size is only one requirement. The file format, transparency, app content and other listing requirements still matter.
