Skir vs AppLaunchpad for app screenshots

Compare Skir and AppLaunchpad on editable screenshot workflows, export limits, localization and billing periods, with evidence labels for every feature cell.

Published by Skir, one of the products compared · Documentation checked September 10, 2026 · Request a correction

Both products are relevant when you want to turn app captures into composed store screenshots. Start by comparing the exact export and editing work you need to complete, then check plan limits. A large template catalog or an advertised feature does not establish which tool will work better for your particular release.

Evidence labels matter: “verified” refers to the stated Skir checks; “vendor-documented” means a published product statement. A completed hands-on AppLaunchpad edit/export run is not available for this comparison. No overall winner, speed advantage or conversion uplift is claimed.

Compare the billing period, not only the large number

AppLaunchpad's captured price is an annual-plan monthly equivalent. Do not present it as a cancellable one-month charge or mix it with a temporary promotion. Check the selected interval, total due and taxes in the vendor checkout before buying. Skir's current pricing page is the source for Skir availability; this comparison does not claim that a paid Skir checkout has passed production acceptance.

Try the same edit and export

Use three app captures you own, the same target dimensions and the same approved headlines. Replace an image, make one longer headline, save, reopen and export. Compare the actual files for dimensions, alpha, readability and source editability. Count any manual repairs, but do not compare the speed of two sessions with different tasks or operator familiarity.

Choose around the next release

Skir's recorded workflow provides a concrete starting point for a three-image static set. AppLaunchpad's documented catalog and localization offer are relevant evaluation points if you need those capabilities. Test the particular plan and language you will use. This page makes no claim that one product is faster, produces more installs or has better translation quality.

Inspect a real Skir output

The recorded first-set workflow shows template selection, editing, saving and export. Its three-image Android example contains actual 1080 × 1920 opaque PNGs from a fictional app composition. It demonstrates that workflow, not a result for your app.

For the raw Skir export checks and the unfinished cross-tool protocol, see the workflow measurement page.
