Understand the PNG issue before handoff
A background that looks opaque is not the same as a file without an alpha channel. Figma's documented PNG format makes this a concrete delivery check for stores that reject alpha. Inspect the actual file with the size checker. An appropriate conversion to an opaque file, or a reviewed JPEG export, can be part of the handoff; verify dimensions and visual quality afterward.
Keep the app capture faithful
In either tool, preserve the app screen as a single original image and put marketing copy around it. Rebuilding the app's labels as separate design text can accidentally change the product being shown. Keep a copy of the source capture, its app version and the approved headline so a later release can be reviewed consistently.
Choose by the work you already maintain
A team with an established Figma design system may prefer to keep the composition in that system and own its export checks. Skir is worth trying when a prepared screenshot set and direct PNG/JPEG ZIP workflow fit the task. These are workflow considerations, not measured claims about speed, collaboration quality or cost.
